This coffee shop’s menu is a delightful mix of thoughtfully curated offerings designed to cater to diverse tastes. Their Seasonal Salads stand out for their fresh, vibrant ingredients — the halloumi and avocado salad (£8.00) is a fresh and creamy combination that resonates with the lighter side of healthy dining, while the Cajun chicken (£8.50) and tuna, red onion & black olive salad (£9.00) offer heartier, flavour-packed options.

For hot drink enthusiasts, Coffee Bean truly excels. Whether you prefer the classic comfort of a Breakfast Tea or Decaf Tea (£2.50), or are tempted by the rich indulgence of a Deluxe Hot Chocolate (£4.50), each beverage is crafted to satisfy and elevate your café experience. One customer’s rave about the "salted caramel latte" hints at the exceptional barista skills on hand, promising a memorable sip every time.

The savory side of the menu features a range of delectable hot dishes that perfectly complement the coffee. From the Beef Sizzler and Mexican Spicy Chicken to the Italian Special and Aphrodite Special, each plate is a vivid journey of flavours made with high-quality, locally sourced produce. Their omelettes (£7.00) and other breakfast offerings like the Big Bean breakfast showcase an artful attention to detail with hearty portions cooked to perfection — think chunky mushrooms, thick tiger bread toasted just right, smoky bacon, and perfectly fried eggs.

The atmosphere at Coffee Bean is consistently praised by visitors for its spotless, inviting dining area and attentive, friendly staff who make every guest feel personally welcome. Many reviewers have remarked on the communal spirit of the café — a place that feels like more than just a stop for food, but a hub where locals and visitors alike can relax, catch up, and enjoy exceptional flavors.

First time visiting today for breakfast and it was really nice bacon and egg on tiger bread. Everything was good quality ingredients and cooked well and the latte was very good.

We tried this lovely little coffee shop this morning for breakfast. I had the Big Bean breakfast which was really good. This contained excellent quality sausage, bacon and black pudding along with eggs, hash brown, beans, vine tomatoes and mushrooms which were nice and chunky and cooked to perfection. It also had two slices of thick tiger bread toast all for £10. The cafe was busy with plenty of people and a really nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and I will certainly visit again.

My first visit to coffee bean after hearing about the opening. Was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the most delicious breakfast. My daughter had the avocado on toast with feta and chilli flakes and I had to taste that too, I’m getting that next visit. And my favourite drink salted caramel latte. It’s a must try.

Friendly welcome into a spotless dining area. My waitress was very pleasant and rattled off a series of special dishes not on the breakfast menu. Food arrived quickly and was hot and plentiful. I can't fault any aspect of my visit and will surely return.

This was my first visit to this cafe, the staff were extremely friendly on arrival and throughout, and the cappuccino was lovely. I will be coming back and I recommend it to anyone. The food smelt amazing so I will definitely be trying it out next time I go.

Had a lovely lunch here today. 5 of us each chose a different meal from the menu and specials board and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices. Service was spot on, friendly and attentive staff. Generous portions and very nicely presented food (we had eaten half of our sandwiches and toastie before I took my pictures! Would definitely recommend and I will be returning to try more of the menu. This new business is definitely an asset to the area
